Clear for take-off!

We just got word from our NVR rep that we are set to clear on Friday.  Whoo hoo!!  I still expect them to bug us about something between now and then though.  They seem to have a reputation for that, lol.

So, now I am about to go crazy waiting.  In the meantime, we have been searching for cabinet hardware and tile for our kitchen backsplash.  Can anyone point me to some good resources for either?

  1. Congrats! Hope the closing goes smoothly for you!
For the cabinet hardware, Hobby Lobby actually has some great knob choices that I've used for crafting. I don't know if you have one near you, but it's worth checking out for more creative choices than the standard ones at the big box stores.

  3. Congrats on your home, it's beautiful. I love your dining room and the nice touches on the walls. What is it called and did Ryan Homes offer it? We were only offered the crown molding and chair rail.

As for the backsplash try www.glasstilestore.com they offer nice backsplash tiles.

    Take care!

  6. Thank you guys so much for the compliments and the advice. I really appreciate it! Sorry it took me a couple of days to post all of your comments. I have been a bit busy with packing the apartment. It's so crazy right now!

Tammi, thanks so much for the links gal! I will check them out today. :)

Marja, have a wonderful time here in the states. Have no fear, I will be posting pics as we get the house converted to a home. Merry Christmas!

JW, the wall work in the dining room is called wainscoting. Wainscoting typically goes under the chair railing. We got it as an upgrade with Ryan. I am surprised that you guys were only offered chair railing. Ask if they can do the wainscoting if you want it. I bet that they can!

Rachel, thanks for the tip on Hobby Lobby. I hadn't thought of that. I love that place! Guess where I will be making a trip soon? lol
