It's been wayyyyy too long...

Sorry I have been on such a long hiatus but I needed a break from the ole blog. My hormones from the surrogacy took a complete nose dive after I had the baby. I have been an emotional wreck to say the least. Let me assure you that it has nothing to do with the baby---at all. It has everything to do with missing my friends/family, missing my previous home in NC, not speaking to a particular person due to a big fight and my hormone crash. Ugh! I have been a huge ball of emotions lately and so I have been trying to just focus on making myself feel better.

My house is definitely not helping me. I can't stand even being in it because it doesn't feel like home yet. Clayton is in the middle of painting the living room, stairs, play area and entryway. I can't wait for that to be done. I have ordered a bunch of accent furniture and knick knacks to make the house homier. It just can't happen fast enough for me. White walls and lack of furniture make me depressed. My last house did that to me too. Once I got it all decorated and painted, my outlook totally changed and I felt happy. Unfortunately, we moved as soon as I got everything done. :P

Sorry to be so hum-drum tonight. I hope to be feeling back to normal soon.

Hey Brandy! I've been thinking of you and worrying about you because i know how your hormones get after babies (or how anyone's can get during that post-partum time.) I'm glad to read a post by you! Just think about how nice your house will be soon! Since you were already pregnant when you moved it's not like you were able to get everything accomplished that you wanted - so you're doing it now. And that's great! A great way to start January! : ) I wonder what this year will bring for you! : )

Hey gal! Glad to get an update on how you're doing. Hang in there--your hormones will level back out and your house will be gorgeous soon! I can't wait to see pictures of all the cool stuff you've ordered to decorate. Take care!

you poor thing! and poor Clayton, lol. I know it will take some time, but your hormones will settle down and once you get some things painted and some housey knick knacks around...you'll feel better. You've been so busy this year, give yourself a break, girl! think of all you've accomplished this year and then know that you'll get things done this year as they come. kiss the boys for me! (the little ones, not the big one)
